Oxford Instruments Superconducting Magnets: 17.5 T, 18 T and 21 T

More information.

Helium space and Variable Temperature Inserts achieve temperatures down to 1.5 millikelvin. Can be used to perform high-field, low-temperature measurements of powder and single-crystal samples. Techniques currently used within Clarendon include electric transport, microcantilever magnetometry, RF contactless conductivity, magneto-optics, and thermal transport. Requires access to experimental probes.
