Ideally suited to research laboratories, the NanoSight LM10/14 is based around a conventional optical microscope equipped with a digital camera. Nanoparticles in suspension are visualised directly when illuminated using laser light over an optically opaque background allowing them to be sized and counted with the NTA software package. Results are displayed as a frequency size distribution graph and output to spreadsheet. Video clips of images can also be captured and archived for future reference.
