Update an integration
The following steps apply to both Pure equipment module and Kit-Catalogue users.
- On the data management platform go to the “Manage your API integration” tile
- Change your credentials and then click the “Update integration” button at the bottom of the page.
- This will re-establish the connection with the new credentials.
- Note that updating the integration will not delete any records that have already been published. When you update an integration, the system will recognise/match existing records based on the Internal Record ID for each record and harvest any new records
- Successful connection: you will get a notification pop-up to say the connection has been successful and a link to the page to view your records and make DOI requests.
- Unsuccessful notification: you will get a notification to say the connection has been unsuccessful. Please check your credentials and try again and if this doesn’t work, please notify us at help@jisc.ac.uk with “Equipment Data Service” in the subject line
- Once you have a successful notification you will see the connection and harvest status on the left-hand side of the integration page and the status toggle will be turned to ‘active’ and appear green
- Your records will have been harvested and published
- To view your records: you can either click “View records” from the integration page or navigate to the dashboard on the home page icon and view records from “View records” tile.
End an integration
