Requests for DOIs
After completing the initial review of records submitted, the next step is to review the DOI requests. To do this select ‘review DOI requests’. Records will then be listed in two tables, records to be published with a DOI and records to be published without a DOI.
Work through the requests ensuring that all requests are updated as to whether they require a DOI or not. Once all selections have been made select publish.
Accept DOI requests
If all the records in the ‘records to be published with a DOI’ table are correct, then no further action needs to be taken.
If any records in the ‘records to be published without a DOI’ table are incorrect, and should be assigned a DOI, then in the request DOI column edit the entry to yes.
Note: you can also edit the DOI column in the initial records screen, by editing the request DOI field directly and changing to ‘yes’. These records will then appear in the request DOI screen and will just need to be confirmed.
Reject DOI requests
If any records in the ‘records to be published with a DOI’ table are incorrect, and shouldn’t be assigned a DOI, then in the request DOI column edit the entry to no before publishing.
