Submission outcomes

Once the lead has actioned the submitted records, the editor will receive a notification with the outcome.

Records accepted

When records are accepted, they will be moved to the live database and can be viewed using the ‘view, add edit records’ section. The status column will indicate that they have been published.

Records rejected

When records are rejected, they can be viewed using the ‘view, add edit records’ section. The status column will indicate that they have been rejected.

When records have been rejected, there are three options for proceeding:

  • Leave the record as rejected
  • Make edits external to the system and re-submit records
  • Discuss directly with lead who can make edits directly and publish

Edits accepted

When edits have been submitted, they’ll be reviewed. When accepted by the lead user, they will be moved to the live database and can be viewed using the ‘view, add edit records’ section. The status column will indicate that they have been published.

Edits rejected

When edits are rejected, they can be viewed using the ‘view, add edit records’ section. The status column will indicate that they have been rejected.

Note: Rejected edits should be discussed directly with lead users.

DOI requests accepted

When DOI requests have been accepted, the record will then be published and available in the platform with a DOI.

DOI requests rejected

When DOI requests have been rejected by the lead for the record, the lead is still able to publish the record on the platform without a DOI.
