Manage users

Add new users to the system

Note: only the Lead users for spreadsheet upload and API users can add new users.

Steps to add a new user:

• Navigate to the data management dashboard and select View, add or edit users
• Select add users
• Fill in the required information and assign their permissions (all fields are mandatory)
• Select +Add to add more users
• Select Review to review all the details and Confirm to give them access to the data management platform.

Important: If the email address you enter is already in use, you will receive a warning and will not be able to add the user again.

Edit users

Note: for spreadsheet upload users, only the Lead users can edit other user details. Editors can only edit their own details. API users can edit all API user details.

Steps to edit user details:

• Navigate to the data management dashboard and select View, add or edit users
• Find the user you would like to edit the details of and select the value you'd like to edit (e.g. First name)
• Input a new value and confirm by selecting the tick or 'Enter'

 Removing users from the system

Note: only the Lead users for spreadsheet upload, and API users can remove other users.

Steps to remove a user:

• Navigate to the data management dashboard and select View, add or edit users
• Select the users you'd like to remove using the checkboxes
• Select remove selected. The user will then be removed from the system.

Export users

Note: this functionality is available to all user roles.

• Navigate to the data management dashboard and select View, add or edit users
• Select the users you'd like to export using the checkboxes
• Select export selected
  • Select the fields that you want to include in the export from the dropdown menu. All fields are selected by default.
  • Select what format you want the users to be exported in. Currently, exporting as a CSV file is the only option.
  • Select export. The exported file will then be downloaded.
